This is a list to show games that support benchmarks and framerate tracking internally without the use of external tools. [[Store:Steam|Steam]] overlay and other external benchmark tools do not count for this list. Whilst there are an abundance of performance tracking tools on [[Windows]] and [[Linux]], there are no tools that currently track game performance on Windows [[ARM]] or [[OS X|macOS]]. Furthermore many games do not support third party overlays if they are run through Wine or on a virtual machine.

This is a list to show games that provide a built-in benchmark, either within the game, via a launcher or as a separate executable. Other external benchmark tools do not count for this list.

Notes:

  • Leave basic instructions.
  • {{Key}} template in order to annotate key combinations.
  • Use → to indicate menu steps e.g. Main menu → Options → Display settings.
    If it can only be run from the main menu and not from within the game, start with "Main menu" as first step
  • If there is more than one method separate using the word 'or'.
  • If unsure about the benchmark specific release date use game's earliest PC release date instead.
  • Do not remove rows unless you can personally verify it lacks a built-in benchmark.
