  1. Delete or rename attract.bk2 in <path-to-game>\video.
Only disables the intro video that plays when the game is on idle after startup.

Play Steam version without Oculus Software[edit]

  1. Download and install Revive Compatibility Layer.
  2. Download LibOVRRT32_1.dll and LibOVRRT64_1.dll
  3. Place both files in <path-to-game>\Dirt Rally\
  4. Start SteamVR and right-click on the Revive icon in your Taskbar.
  5. Select Patch and then select the <path-to-game>\Dirt Rally\Dirt.exe and patch the .EXE.
  6. Once patched, launch Dirt Rally in Steam, ignore the VR warning, and press yes and the game will launch.
