Ray tracing (RT)

Unlock the additional "Unobtanium" preset that exceeds the "Ultra" preset.
Also unlocks the corresponding extended values for some graphics settings used by the "Unobtanium" preset.

Ultrawidescreen Fix/Remove Pillarboxes

Hex Edit Game Executable
Before editing, make a backup of the afop.exe and afop_plus.exe file in case the modifications go wrong.
  1. Go to <path-to-game>
  2. Open afop.exe (or afop_plus.exe for Ubisoft+ users) with a HexEditor (HxD)
  3. Press Ctrl+F
  4. Select Hex Values tab
  5. Select Search direction Forward
  6. Search for the first instance of 39 8E E3 3F, should be at offset (found on left side) 034FEBE0 as of v.1.03
  7. Replace 39 8E E3 3F with the value for your resolution
  8. Save the file, Ctrl+S

Disable Chromatic Aberration

Edit config file
Before editing, make a backup of the graphic settings.cfg file in case of error.
  1. Go to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\AFOP
  2. Open graphic settings.cfg with a text editor (e.g. Notepad++)
  3. Change ["chromatic aberration"] = true, to ["chromatic aberration"] = false,
  4. Save the file, Ctrl+S
If ["chromatic aberration"] does not exist, add ["chromatic aberration"] = false, to Graphics section.

Disable Vignette

Edit config file
Before editing, make a backup of the graphic settings.cfg file in case of error.
  1. Go to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\AFOP
  2. Open graphic settings.cfg with a text editor (e.g. Notepad++)
  3. Change vignette = true, to vignette = false,
  4. Save the file, Ctrl+S

Anti-aliasing (AA)

Disable TAA by editing a config file
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open the graphic settings.ini file in a notepad.
  3. Find the TAA line, change its value to 0 and save the changes.

    "I think one of the things that you will see with us is that - as we are all Swedes - we are pretty bad at naming things. So we don't have a catchy name for it. But I think it's a really cool, versatile system that allows us to basically take advantage of all of the different techniques that we've done so far.
