Electronic Arts Inc., also known as EA, is American video game company.
Electronic Arts was founded by Trip Hawkins on May 28, 1982. In June 2023, Electronic Arts underwent an internal restructuring that saw the company to be reorganized into two divisions: the entertainment-orientated EA Entertainment division and the sport-orientated EA Sports division.
