Boost definition: Allows player to pay to accelerate progress in a game, whether it is faster speed, levelling, level skipping, boosting % chance to find rare items, etc. or to instantly unlock rewards.
Examples:
- World of Warcraft allows players to purchase a Level 120 Character Boost, thereby skipping a grind from Level 1-119.
- Assassin's Creed Odyssey sells a 'Permanent XP Boost' which increases XP gain by 50%.
- Warhammer: Chaosbane sells XP Boost which increases XP gain by 5% and Gold Boost which increases gold gain by 5%.
