Essential improvements[edit]

Remove Pando Media Booster (non-Steam)[edit]

Disadvantage The non-Steam version updates via BitTorrent using Pando Media Booster which constantly seeds in the background.
Information The Steam version does not use Pando Media Booster; these steps are not needed if you installed through Steam.[1]

Fix Remove Pando Media Booster[2]

  1. Open Programs and Features:
    • Vista and newer: Open the Start screen/Start menu, type appwiz.cpl and press ↵ Enter.
    • Windows XP: Press ⊞ Win+R, type appwiz.cpl and press ↵ Enter.
  2. Find the Pando Media Booster entry if it is there and run it to remove it.
  3. If Pando Media Booster was not listed there go to the installation folder:[3]
    • 64-bit Windows: %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Pando Networks\Media Booster
    • 32-bit Windows: %PROGRAMFILES%\Pando Networks\Media Booster
  4. Right click uninst.exe and choose Run as administrator.
  5. Confirm the removal of Pando Media Booster.
