(MGSHDFix is still a work in progress. I'm sure it will become the definitive high resolution and ultrawide fix with time, but at the moment i'll list it "only" for ultrawide and not for regular widescreen.) |
(corrected refcheck on PlayStation Prompts, as I got Metal Gear 1/2 platform versions mixed up) |

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty - Master Collection Version is a singleplayer stealth game published by Konami. It is part of the Metal Gear series.
The original game, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, was developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Japan and published by Konami on PlayStation 2 in 2001, and chronologically takes place after the events of Metal Gear Solid (1998). The expanded re-release, Substance, was released on PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC in 2002/2003, which added over 300 additional missions, along with five side story missions featuring Solid Snake.
It was later included in the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, developed by Bluepoint Games and released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011. The HD Edition included in the HD Collection serves as the basis for the Master Collection Version.
