Troubleshooting

Game crashes after seeing or going through a portal :

Make sure you are running Portal in DirectX 9 or higher. Trying to run the game in DirectX 8.1 will cause the game to crash when a portal appears.

I can't see my crosshair :

In the console, type cl_drawcrosshair 1 to show your crosshair or cl_drawcrosshair 0 to hide it.
