Issues fixed

AI Upscaling and Screen Smoothing

Tekken 8 does not have an option to remove AI Upscaling or Screen Smoothing. Fortunately, Unreal Engine 5 has a lot of modifiable settings.
Edit Engine.ini
  1. Go to the configuration file location.
  2. Make a backup of Engine.ini.
  3. Replace with the following file. Link here. (File Updated 12/2/2024, old file caused slowdown -- it used to fix slowdown in CBT/CNT)
  4. This file also contains different settings for Bloom, Motion Blur, and Anti-Aliasing. Please modify with a number from 0-3 as you see fit.

Unlock FPS + Minor fixes

Tekken 8 is locked to 60 FPS, TekkenOverlay unlocks and allows higher frame rate.
Unlock frame-cap
  1. Download TekkenOverlay from the official repository.
  2. Extract the contents into a folder of your choice.
  3. Run TekkenOverlay.exe.
  4. Run the game.
  5. In the settings, enable "Unlock FPS".
