Issues fixed

Game does not launch on non-Japanese Windows systems (C77 release)

This issue is caused by the game's installation files written in Japanese and expects the game to be launched with Japanese unicode settings.
Run the game with Japanese Unicode settings; see here for a recommended solution based on the operating system[6]
Rename Japanese installation files into another language[6]

Rename the following installation files containing リーサルクライシス into another name in English (e.g. LethalCrisis): *.exe, *.cfg, .mus, *.p, and .sav

It appears the game prioritizes on D-pad or POV hat inputs over analog sticks and keyboards, causing them to cause conflicts with directional inputs even if they do nothing like in Lethal Crisis ProtoSphere.
  6. 6.0 6.1 Verified by User:Amethystviper on 2023-07-11
Tested with a fresh install of the Japanese C77 release by launching the game directly from the executable, which caused the error. Using Locale Emulator while the game's files are written in Japanese fixed the issue. Alternatively, renaming the files that were written in Japanese to "Lethal Crisis.<extension>" allowed the game to run without Locale Emulator.
  7. Mentioned in the game's official website.
