Warnings

SafeDisc retail DRM does not work on Windows Vista and later (see Availability for affected versions).

FIFA Football 2002[Note 1] is a singleplayer and multiplayer sports game developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts via their EA Sports brand. It is a licensed FIFA game.

It was first released in North America on October 30, 2001, followed by Europe and Japan on November 2 and November 15 respectively.

It is known that the game will crashed if the PC's CPU clock speed is faster than 2.0 GHz. Those with such CPU clock speed requires the use of Sui's Fix to workaround it.[1][2]

Essential improvements

Sui's Fix

Installation of Wrapper[1]
  1. Download DSound.dll wrapper and extract it.
  2. Move dsound.dll and dsound.cfg to the installation folder.
  3. Start the game.

Notes

If noticeable issues happen - like flags wave too fast, transitions take too long etc. try modifying the value in dsound.cfg file (where lower value results in faster sprite animations and transitions).
Visual C++ 2015 Redist libraries are required for the wrapper to work.
