Video settings
High frame rate
- With high refresh rate monitors and windowed or borderless mode, game will actuall cap the frame rates to values like 48 FPS on 144Hz monitors and 55 FPS for 165Hz monitors.[4] Only way to play at higher framerates is to use exclusive fullscreen mode, which enforces 60Hz.
- If monitor has G-sync or Freesync enabled, this can introduce further issues, lowering games framerate down to as low as 15 FPS.[5]
- Enable exclusive fullscreen mode to bypass any issues. See Special K to force a custom refresh rate higher than 60 Hz for fullscreen mode, which also allows the game to run at higher framerates.
Disable fur
- Can increase the performance a lot.
Disable fur via Helix Mod[6] |
