Issues unresolved
This game has numerous glitches like previous iterations and suffers from low frame rate even on powerful hardware.
Issues fixed
Performance loss with in-game Anti-aliasing and Vsync enabled
- This is caused by bad implementation.

Poor frame rate
- Ubisoft suggests disconnecting from the internet may boost frame rates for single player mode.[8]
- When playing at 4K resolution, you can receive a massive boost in performance by setting your desktop resolution to 1920x1080 prior to launching the game in 4K. Assassin's Creed Unity requires as much VRAM as possible, especially at 4K. Reducing desktop resolution to 1920x1080 frees up over 400 MB of VRAM. What seems like a minor trick can double the game's performance at 4K on 2x GTX 980s from 20-25 FPS to 40-50 FPS.
- In Nvidia GPU's, you can alter these settings in the Nvidia Control Panel, and hopefully the framerate will improve drastically.
Go to manage 3D settings then click on the "Program settings tab" and select Assassin's Creed Unity it should be labeled as ACU.exe and change the settings in the "specify the settings for this program" box to the following options: Anisotropic filtering: 4x, Anti Aliasing mode: Override any application setting, Anti Aliasing setting : You could choose either between 2x or 4x depending on your hardware fidelity, Anti Aliasing- Transparency: Multisample, Texture Filtering - Anisotropic sample optimization: off, Texture filtering - Negative LOD bias: Clamp, Texture filtering - Trilinear optimization: On, Threaded optimization: On, Vertical sync: Adaptive. When you run the game make sure Anti-Aliasing is set as: Fxaa or off (depending on your hardware capability) and also make sure to turn off in-game v-sync.
Games doesn't load when installed in a Windows 8 Storage Space
The Game will refuse to run when installed on a drive which is managed by a Windows 8/8.1 Storage Space.

Patch 4 causes texture flickering with SLI users
Patch 4 seems to break SLI configuration for PC users, When you start your game, water is flickering and walls sometimes to, there seem to be two fixes at the moment. Hopefully ubisoft wil resolve this in patch 5, after "testing" the patch...
1: "Make It Rain" Press start then choose "progression menu" (first menu) and load "Sequence 4 Mission 1". Let the mission start, it is always raining at the beginning of this mission. Then press start and quit mission. Flickering has gone and you can quietly enjoy the game ;)
2: "No SLI for you dear sir" Disable SLI, tough the performance will suffer... try option 1 if you dont have a decent Single GPU. You can select "Single-GPU" in the "Manage 3D Settings --> Select AC: Unity --> SLI-Rendermode" on the NVIDIA-Control Panel, atleast you dont have to completly turn of SLI then.
Patch 4 causes previously working game to hang or crash at loading screen
Delete or rename configuration files stored in %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Assassin's Creed Unity\
. There are two files, an ini file and an xml file. You can rename them if you want to keep the originals. When you next run the game it creates new versions and the crash is fixed.
