Version differences
- There are two different editions of the game: The original one, released on Epic Games Store in May 2020 and Steam in May 2021; and another one released in November 2021 for PC Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere.
- The Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere release is a fork of the original game, based on the "Scenario Update" which came out in May 2021. This fork is maintained by Team17 and DoGames.
- On July 15, 2022, Team17 confirmed that their fork would not receive the last update titled "The Wasteland Update"[6][7]. The same day, Balancing Monkey Games' creative director confirmed that the "Planet Editor Update" would also not be part of the fork[8].
