Daytona USA is a singleplayer first-person and third-person arcade and racing game in the Daytona series.
Daytona USA[Note 1] was first released worldwide for the Sega Model 2 arcade platform in April 1994. It was released for Windows PCs on September 27, 1996 in Japan, November 14, 1996 in Europe and early December 1996 in North America.
The PC port is based on the Sega Saturn version[2] and includes all additions from said version, but as such it's also capped at a lower framerate (20 FPS compared to arcade's 60) and suffers from severe graphical cutbacks, like the lower draw distance and polygon count. Additionally, the game has issues launching on modern Windows systems (see this section for fixes).
