Crash on saving/ exiting buildings/ on loading
Sometimes in particular areas the game may crash when exiting buildings, trying to save or load. Patching the game executable to allow access to 4gb of ram seems to resolve this.
Micro-stuttering on multi-core systems
Multi-core support is broken in that it induces severe stuttering in-game and also on the main-menu.
- Disable "Use multi-core" option in the game settings.
Micro-stuttering on Windows Vista/7
Disable desktop composition on launch[citation needed] |

|
Lower FPS cap to 55fps[citation needed] |
---|
|
Lower mouse polling rate |
---|
|
Use an external framerate limiter to run the game at 30 fps[3] |
