Run without a CD

Copy files from the CD[3]
  1. Create an empty folder in any location and name it. This will be the <path-to-game>.
  2. In the CD directory, copy MAINRSRC to <path-to-game>.
  3. Download, extract, and run Universal Extractor 2.
  4. In the Archive/Installer field, write the path to DATA.Z on the CD.
  5. In the Destination directory field, write <path-to-game> and click Ok.
  6. A command-line window will appear with lettered options for overwriting existing files. Type s and press Enter.
  7. Create an empty text file in <path-to-game> named CONFIG.APP.
  8. Open CONFIG.APP in a text editor and type the entirety of <path-to-game> in the 8.3 filename convention, followed by a \ (example: C:\My Games\Wishbone Activity Zone converts to C:\MYGAME~1\WISHBO~1\).
  9. Save the change to CONFIG.APP.
  10. Download WinG and extract WING32.DLL to %WINDIR%\SysWOW64.
  11. Run the game with <path-to-game>\WISHBONE.EXE.
