As of now enemies tend to do more damage on higher framerates [2] The game appears to default the monitor's refresh rate to 60 hz; on high refresh rate monitors this can result in reduced smoothness even if the internal GPU render shows a high fps. Manually resetting the monitor's refresh rate solves this issue.

Issues unresolved[edit]

Damage taken is increased when the game is running at higher framerates[edit]

When running the game above 30 fps, you're taking more damage from enemy fire. Notice the amount of hits and staggers until automatic AR mode is triggered: 30 fps vs 68 fps[3]
