Hello and welcome.

Using PCGamingWiki since 2012, editing here and there since ~2015, finally decided to make an account in 2020.

PCGW is one of my favorite sources of information. Thanks to everyone who has contributed in making this site a reality. Happy to now be an official user of it.

LEGO, Music, Science and Technology Enthusiast, Enemy of Printers and Armchair Historian.
Started playing PC Games in the mid 90s. Lego Rock Raiders was a defining influence in my interest of real time strategy games and management sims and still is my jam even to this day. Any fan of that game can tell you the crazy difficulty spike of levels Frozen Frenzy and Back to Basics. I remember being stuck on those levels for years as a child and the immense joy of finally beating them. I was introduced to First person shooters through the likes of Doom and Halo. Primarily played on Consoles during the 2000s for anything demanding though still played MMOs (RuneScape, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars} and real time strategies like Age of Empires on PC. Built my first proper gaming PC in 2013. Gaming is an amazing hobby no matter the plastic branded box you decide to use. I love all matter of genres and themes. Still enjoy consoles for their simplicity and novelty. Though I feel in recent years they have started to lose their charm. Have an old Dell retrofitted as a Windows 9x/2000/XP Gaming Box.
