Talk:Hacknet

I'm not familiar with this game, but the Mod DB posts indicate that Hacknet is an alpha/beta version of this game rather than being a separate title. If that is the case it should be merged with the final version as with cases like Black Mesa.

I don't know if this will make it count as different enough, but unlike Black Mesa, which was a mod which went commercial (albeit with the original mod still playable), Hacknet's initial free release was a polished version of the game as it was created at a game jam - albeit in what the author considered to be in an alpha state. Otherwise, aside from lots more content, a few tweaks to the original's gameplay, and the removal of multiplayer, the two releases are admittedly similar.
