Issues fixed[edit]

Application Error (0xc0000142) crash at launch[edit]

Yoda Stories uses an outdated version of WaveMix that needs to be updated.
Update WaveMix version[1]
  1. Download the latest version of WaveMix.
  2. Extract the new WAVMIX32.DLL and WAVEMIX.INI into the installation folder, replacing both existing files when prompted.

"Failed to write block to device" or other errors[edit]

This occurs when the updated WaveMix version has not been used correctly. See Application Error (0xc0000142) crash at launch.

"2 WaveOut Devices have been detected" prompt at launch[edit]

Change ShowDevices in wavemix.ini[citation needed]
  1. Go to the installation folder.
  2. Open wavemix.ini.
  3. Change ShowDevices=1 to ShowDevices=0.
  4. Save your changes. The game will now start without this information.
