Widescreen resolution

Use Flawless Widescreen[citation needed]
Fix horizontal stretching[3]
  1. Go to <path-to-game>\data\datafile\viewport.txt.
  2. Open viewport.txt.
  3. Change Aspect="1.777777778" to:
    • Aspect="2.3338" for ultra-widescreen resolutions.
    • Aspect="5.3333" for multi-monitor resolutions.
    • See Common HEX Values for other aspect ratios.

Field of view (FOV)

Use Flawless Widescreen[citation needed]
Use FOV fix[citation needed]
This fix does not cause the distortion caused by Flawless Widescreen.[citation needed]

High frame rate

Frame rate is capped at 30 FPS by default.[2]
Unlocking the framerate may cause issues with aiming.[4] Enabling Vertical sync (Vsync) or capping your game at 60 fps will resolve this. It is also possible to fix this by capping 99hz within the resolution setting.[5]
See also Game uses incorrect refresh rate to remove 120 Hz limitation.
Use Flawless Widescreen[citation needed]
Make user.ini[6]
  1. Go to the <path-to-game>.
  2. Make a text file called user.ini.
  3. Add the line gmpcr_unlock_frame_rate = True
  4. Save your changes and close the file.

Issues unresolved

Save data deletion bug

Game has a known save data deletion bug, noted to also may occur when starting the DLC. Be sure to backup the "saves" folder in My Document every once in a while.

Issues fixed

Game uses incorrect refresh rate

The game defaults to 120 Hz on launch, even if you selected a higher refresh rate in the last session.
Fix refresh rate manually[8]
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open rendersettings.ini.
  3. Change RefreshNumerator = 120000 to desired hertz; e.g. RefreshNumerator = 144000 for 144 Hz.

Random desktop crashes

Capcom has offered some support for crashing.

Nvidia Optimus Switchable Graphics

Driver update[citation needed]
  • Update to 344.11 drivers or later.

Missing Feastmobile in Dlc 2 after dying or game restart

Theres a bug where the feastmobile doesn't reload once you die or restart the game. You can find it again by going to Ingleton and its next to the safe house in the northern part of the map. You should see the health bar of the car again once you are near it.

SLI support

By default the Nvidia profile does not have SLI compatibility bits for the game. If you have a SLI setup on your computer and would like to improve your general performance you might want to enable SLI support.
Enable SLI support[citation needed]
  1. Open the game profile via Nvidia Profile Inspector.
  2. Change SLI compatibility bits (DX1x) to 0x080222F5 (Batman: Arkham Origins)
  3. Change NVIDIA predefined SLI mode on Dx10 to SLI_PREDEFINED_MODE_FORCE_AFR
  4. Change NVIDIA predefined number of GPUs to use on SLI rendering mode on Dx10 to SLI_PREDEFINED_GPU_COUNT_FOUR
  5. Apply changes.

Notes

SLI is not compatible with SMAA T2X option (will cause flicking and other visual errors).
Some shadow flickering in certain areas will occur regardless of settings when using SLI.

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/265550/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (265550) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
