Open the installation folder
Create a new folder and rename it TheEvilWithinCache.
Add the launch option +fs_cachepath "C:\YOURPATH\The Evil Within 2\TheEvilWithinCache" to the game launch options in Steam. Alternatively, you can create a shortcut of the game .exe file, then open its properties and add the launch option in the target field, leaving 1 empty space between the exe and the launch option.
Run the game, if you used the "shortcut method", launch the game from the shortcut.
After running the game and loading an area, verify the presence of the two files FileCache000.bin and FileCacheHeader.bin in the folder TheEvilWithinCache you created.
If the files are there, it means that the tweak is working.
