Issues fixed

Installing on 64-bit versions of Windows

Obsidian is a 32-bit game but its installer is 16-bit; the game needs to be installed on a 32-bit version of Windows (e.g. in a virtual machine) and then copies back to the 64-bit system. When the filed are copied over to a Windows 7 64-bit machine, this method does not even work with several compatibility options selected. It simply starts a black window that does nothing.[citation needed]

Windows XP setup

Set the Windows color display to 16-bit before playing.[citation needed]
