The entire game was built to be playable in multiplayer co-op, but the expansions were not, though fan-mods exist to fix the issues presents in the expansions to allow them to completed in multiplayer as well. The enhanced edition has made it easier to play on persistent worlds by allowing automatic download of assets. |
