This game saves to a specially-formatted floppy disk (even when playing the CD-ROM version installed to a hard drive).

Mount floppy image in DOSBox SVN build
Download a DOSBox SVN build. Download a blank floppy image. Extract the floppy image and mount it in the DOSBox SVN build as drive A or B (see IMGMOUNT for details). Follow the steps in-game to format the floppy as a datadisk.
