Issues fixed

Downloader uses Pando Media Booster

The game installer by default uses the BitTorrent protocol to download patches and other content. To disable this and download only from the Riot servers, uninstall Pando Media Booster. Uninstalling LoL will actually leave Pando installed on your hard drive and running in the background. You should uninstall it, if you're uninstalling the game.

Borderless Fullscreen Issues

There is also a bug if using the Borderless fullscreen mode in which the game will start loading champions in after selection, but the upper left corner of the game will be in the middle of the screen. This makes it impossible to see 3/4s of the screen, but has a relatively easy fix. Open up the Task Managers [Ctrl+Shift+Escape], right-click on League of Legends, and click "Maximize". This will restore the points to their correct location and fix it. Alternatively, if you can manage it, change the game mode back to Fullscreen or Windowed, and then change it back and it will be fixed. Comparably simple is to press [Alt+Enter] twice.

This can also be fixed by moving your taskbar from one screen to the other while the loading screen is showing, after that you can move your task bar to your screen of preference.

A way to prevent this problem ever happening is to simply not click ANYTHING when the game is loading and the logo appears. Another way to guarantee that this will not happen is to click on chat text bar.

Client Doesn't Open

This issue can occur when clicking to launch the client from the updater. The "League of Legends" emblem will flash a few times, which isn't unusual, but then the client itself will not open. A guide to fixing this bug can be found on the official forums, however the final step, completely clearing League of Legends and all programs associated with it from the computer and doing a re-install from scratch, is the only certain fix.

Disconnect Untargetable Towers/Inhibitors/Minions/Champions

This issue can occur after disconnecting and reconnecting to a game in progress. Turrets or inhibitors which have been destroyed during your disconnect period will appear to still be there, and the next turret/inhibitor along will be untargetable. The only known way to solution to this is to disconnect manually and reconnect to the game.

Graphics card overheating

By default League of Legends has no framerate cap, and because of its low system requirements will run at extremely high framerates, which may lead to GPU overheating. To fix this enable vertical sync or the framerate cap from the settings menu.

HUD Resetting

This issue causes the HUD sizing to reset with each game. This issue can be fixed with the following steps[1]:

Instructions

Mouse Lag/General Mouse Problems

This issue occurs primarily when in spectator mode, and can sometimes be fixed by Alt+Tab'ing in and out. Alternatively, logging out and logging back in will solve this issue.

Post-game Statistics Do Not Load

Sometimes after finishing a game, win or lose, the post-game statistics page will not load and the client will shut down. This is due to a problem with your computer's network firewall. If you're having this problem you may also notice that your client has trouble connecting to PVP.net every so often. Though it is not a permanent solve, you can go in to your antivirus software and temporarily disable your network threat protection. This issue is especially prevalent with users who have Symantec Endpoint Protection.

Space Bar Autocentre Doesn't Work

There is a bug wherein the space bar will randomly stop auto-centering back on the player's champion. Alt-Tabbing doesn't seem to immediately fix this problem, but it usually doesn't persist for long enough to become a major nuisance in-game. Going to Keybinds and rebinding auto locking usually fixes the problem.

Strong FPS Drop after Patch 3.8

The issue is easily fixed with turning HUD Animations off in the Video Settings

Issues unresolved

Cursor corruption on AMD GPUs

There has been a bug in the drivers of AMD's GPUs for years where the cursor may corrupt over time and turn into a vertical line that looks somewhat similar to a comb or into a white square. There is no solution besides restarting your computer or enabling a software cursor, which includes Windows' pointer trails setting.

RADS Error

The RADS Error dialog will appear after a long start up time for the LOL Launcher. This error is caused by system administrators blocking LOL/similar programs from accessing the connection to the internet. There is no way to solve this error client side and requires either asking your server administrator to unblock LOL or connecting to a different network. This error is common on university networks
