Characters can be imported from Dark Sun: Shattered Lands.

  1. Make a new folder in the Wake of the Ravager installation folder (e.g. dsun).
  2. Copy the Shattered Lands saves (*.SAV) into this new folder.
  3. Edit the DOSBox configuration file (dosbox_darksun2_single.conf for GOG.com).
  4. Change ravager to chartran, then save the file.
  5. Run Dark Sun: Wake of the Ravager.
  6. Press 2 at the prompt.
  7. Type C for the drive.
  8. Enter the name of the installation folder (C:\ for GOG.com).
  9. Press ↵ Enter, then follow the prompts to choose the save to import from.
  10. Edit the DOSBox configuration file again.
  11. Change chartran back to ravager, then save the file.
  12. Run Dark Sun: Wake of the Ravager. The imported characters are now available in-game.
