Parallax Software Corporation was an American video game development company.
Parallax was co-founded by Matthew Toschlog and Mike Kulas on June 14, 1993, and was known for their Descent series of games.
Following the success of Descent II, Parallax was later split into two separate companies in October 1996, with Kulas founded Volition and Toschlog founded Outrage Entertainment.
