Demo
An example of Spider-man's costume change in the demo. It's based on his appearance in the game "Spider-Man: The Movie," evident by it's reflective eyes and small spider on the chest.
An example of the UI changes made in-game. Spider-man's icon is notably more pointy than the original and it has a slightly higher resolution than the original. It reverts to the original when the Spider Armor is acquired in game. The bill board to the right also exemplifies the changes of the billboards in-game, as the original was for a new biography on Carnage instead of Spider-Man: The Movie.
In April 2002, Kellogg's offered this CD-ROM for free in exchange for some UPCs of their cereals and 2 proof-of-purchases from gallon milk jugs, as part of a campaign with "America's Dairy Farmers and Milk Processors" (the creators of "Got Milk?"). There are some differences between this Kellogg's Edition of the game and the original, including...
- In-game billboard ads for The Kellogg Company and "Got Milk?"
- A player model texture swap.
- The title screen has it's graphics swapped with promotional art from the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movie.
- The Stan Lee narration was removed.
This demo was also updated in technical aspects...
- The demo contains a native 30 FPS cap absent from the full release.
- Support for higher resolutions.
- Support for more modern controllers.
The demo allows players to play until the end of Rhino's Rampage. The demo removes the training, gallery, and cheat functions from the full game.
To launch the game, un-zip the download, navigate to the "demo" folder, and launch "SpideyPC.exe". Installation is optional on modern systems.
To access the Sam Raimi film bonus content, navigate the folder and view the files directly, or use the "Launcher.exe" within the base folder. The Demo can also be fully installed through this application to your computer.

Bug with Chase Venom
A demonstration of a bug that happens in a cut scene after Spider-Man chases Venom through a building. Spider-Man, after Venom leaps out of the building, follows a bugged path, causing him to turn right and jump into the wall hes facing to climb it for a few seconds.
During the level Chase Venom Spider-Man must chase venom to a skyscraper, where-in the game plays an in-game cut scene of the two chasing each other through the skyscraper. There is a bug that causes Spider-Man to follow an improper path while chasing venom out of the building near the end, causing Spider-Man to become to far apart from Venom, causing a game-over.
Audio Issues for Specific Instances
The game has trouble detecting specific audio drivers properly. For example, using Bluetooth headphones causes the audio become heavily distorted. The audio will mute for certain music and sounds in-game, but will blare the music on the menu, and any dialogue from characters in-game to the point of distortion. The loud audio also gets louder overtime, despite being turned down to the lowest setting in the audio menu.
