From PCGamingWiki, the wiki about fixing PC games

Hello World!

I'm WolfBoy980! I love PC Gaming, I love it so much that I want to make it better for others!

As a big fan of retro games, I like PC Gaming due to it's ability to allow for retro games to be played on modern systems (with varying degrees of success). DOOM is a great example of how a PC game ascends the confines of time, and continues to be played today despite it's upbringing as a DOS game. I want to make it as easy as possible for others to fix their old PC games, mainly around the time of Windows 98 and XP.

As of 7/10/2017, the time of writing, i'm still relatively new to the PC Gaming Wiki, so expect me to mess up! But that's okay, because i'm willing to learn from others!

Outside of the Wiki, I've made stuff. For example, here's a link to the steam guides i've made thus far!

Currently, i'm looking specifically for some information:

  • A way to run Ultimate Spider-Man on Windows 10 without using a shady crack i've found (mainly SafeDisc v4 DRM drivers not existing in Windows 10).
  • A way to run Spider-Man (2001) without the bugs and glitches present on a 64-Bit Windows 10 computer (running on my old computer, these bugs didn't exist possibly because of a 30 fps frame limit [I also have a Kellogg's demo version of the game that doesn't have the bugs either while having a 30 fps frame limit]).
  • Increase the render distance in Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue.

If you can help on any of the things mentioned above, please send me a message!

See you on the Wiki!
