- After the opening cutscene ends, you'll get the aforementioned error message at the start of a level followed by the game prompting you to either save and quit, quit without saving or to continue. Ignoring the error message, saving and loading the save file will result in a crash to desktop.

- I have the original December 2010 Oddbox collection release and was having this issue, when I updated it to the April 2011 patch, the issue has been fixed, the error message no longer appears and I can load a save file without crashing.
