Game crash on launch and freeze on loading tracks on modern operating systems (Windows 7,8,10)
This solution will make the game work but it will be lagged unfortunately no other solution is known to make the game work
- Download [1] dgvoodoo2.
- Copy D3DIMM.DLL,DDRAW.DLL from the \MS\x86\ folder to the game install directory, along with dgVoodoo.conf and dgVoodooCpl.exe.
- Enable 'Fast Video Memory Access' in the DirectX tab in the dgVoodoo control panel (dgVoodooCpl.exe) to remove lag and make the game run more smoothly
- Set SBK2001.exe in Windows 98/ME compatibility mode.
- Set rendered mode in software in options graphics
Installer not run nvidia cards
Caused by the process nvcontainer.exe
- Perform the following steps while the game is running.
- Open the Task Manager.
- Make sure the "Details" tab is visible and activate it.
- Find the "SBK2001.exe" executable, right click it, and select "Analyze wait chain."
- In the window that appears, there will be the SBK2001.exe as well as other program(s) that cause(s) the installer to hang.
- Close those programs and the installer will continue normally.
