I have included various Awakening bugfixes in the essential improvements list as these bugs are severe and the fixes only work if applied before said bug occurs. Please let me know if one of the files i've listed is broken and/or has unintentional side effects. I am aware the silverite mine fix will slightly bug a cutscene in the mine, but it is a very small tradeoff for the bigger fix.

A very nice list. I remember having Riot Scene Fix in my collection of DA:A fixes but I have removed it during my last playthrough. And I can't specifically remember why. Was it conflicting with something that I was using or if it was fixed with something else I can't recall.

A few others I'd add to the list, but if they are "essential" or not depends on an individual: Armor Rune Drop Fixes, Awakening Party Banter Fix, Awakening Runes Fixes, Vigilance weapon appearance fix alternative

Arhummk (talkcontribs)

Party Banter is a bug I haven't encountered in my playthrough (Just finished entire DAO recently btw!) . But it's nice to stay safe. I didn't know Vigilance was bugged? And the rest don't seem as important. But I'm no veteran So I can't really say what's essential or not. Do add them to the list if they are unavoidable/annoying bugs. Thanks!

Nice, I was playing through the expansion for the first time despite having owned it since it first released and there's some incredibly obvious in-your-face bugs once you reach a town (which one of the mentioned mods fixes).

It's a huge shame that Bioware never released the files needed for the official modding tools to work with the expansion pack content (which is why modding efforts are severely lacking for Awakening).

Additional Awakening fixes were released a few days ago called "Awakening Fixes and Tweaks". Sharing links here makes my comments unable to be posted.

Arhummk (talkcontribs)

you can break the link up by adding dots and spaces, i've seen this before, it has a few neat minor fixes but will conflict with the existing baronness fix and possibly the silverite mine fix the latter of which is a major mod.

Uroshuchiha (talkcontribs)

It conflicts with the Baronness fix cause it does the same thing from scratch and fixes more. Recommended to use that one instead of the old one.

As for Silverite Mine, it's made compatible with TerraEx's Silverite Mine fix. You just have to load it after and they are compatible.

Regardless, all of the fixes that come with this new bundle of fixes are modular so you can only choose what you want in case you don't want it all.

Arhummk (talkcontribs)

Well then do add it to the page but add a note stating the mod order and that the mod loader will be required for this fix.

Just a note on the multiple edits under "Crash to desktop". I'm playing DAO right now, and it's Very prone to crashing. I've tested/verified the fixes and will be adding references for everything. Some are supposed to be for specific areas in the game (e.g. Demerim) but I have had success using them in other areas as well, which is why there are no titles like "Crash in Demerim".

But it's starting to look a bit cluttered/overflowed under the Crash to Desktop header, and I'm not sure how to fix that. Or perhaps it isn't a problem? If anyone has time to take a look that would be great.

Probably a good idea to add this issue
