Waves² is a cancelled game in the Waves series.
On 14 August, 2022, the partner of the game's developer, CJ, informed the community for Waves and Waves 2 that their developer had died 14 days prior on 31 June, 2022. As part of the developer's final wishes, both Waves games would be made freeware. CJ also stated Waves 2 would not be further developed.[2]
