This game has many problems with compatibility on newer systems but a fix is available.

Sometimes by connecting an external monitor (second monitor to a desktop) will force the game into "windowed mode", allowing it to run.

Although the game is in windowed mode, it can still be in full screen on one of the two monitors, allowing it to be played in fullscreen.

If anyone has a fix going off this to make it work on one monitor, by all means
