Issues fixed

Wrong resolution/Can't change resolution

Edit config.txt
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open config.txt.
  3. Search for:
SCREEN_HEIGHT = 1086
SCREEN_WIDTH = 1932
  1. Replace SCREEN_HEIGHT values with the new resolution height.
  2. Replace SCREEN_WIDTH values with the new resolution width.
  3. Save and close.

Crash on launch

Disable mipmaps[5]
Create the file if it does not exist.
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open config.txt.
  3. Disable mipmaps by changing/writing the following to the file: ENABLE_MIPMAPPING = false
Change the resolution in the config file[6]
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open config.txt.
  3. Change SCREEN_HEIGHT and SCREEN_WIDTH to a resolution available on the monitor.
Reset the config file[6]
If the alternative solutions fail then a complete configuration reset might help.
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Delete config.txt.

Issues unresolved

Alt+Tab causes Twitter login fail

Using Alt+Tab ↹ appears to cause loaded tweets to fail.[7]

Non-US keyboard

Appears to be treating all international keyboards as US keyboards.[7]

Black Backgrounds & Other Missing Graphics/Videos

May or may not be related to ATI Cards but the game does not display background graphics or intro video.[8] The log lists various information, for example: 

Couldn't find scenes/common/messagebox/positions.pnt
  • Verifying Steam download results in it attempting to fix but does nothing.
  • Completely reinstalling after deleting local content does not fix.
  • Latest video drivers does not fix.

Some users have had success fixing this by disabling the Catalyst A.I. in the AMD Control Center.[9]

Black Screen Freeze

The game will sometimes freeze in the transition between areas and at the end of a section. ALT-tabbing out and back works between areas, but when stuck after the second level it can be stuck permanently.

Soundtrack

The Steam version comes with the game's soundtrack in MP3 format (FLAC and others available here). It can be accessed by going to <path-to-game>\soundtrack.
