Issues unresolved

Vsync (Enabled by default) not working correctly on Windows 10

The problem can be easily fixed using dgvoodoo2 or d3d8to9 but unfortunately it breaks the graphics of the game

Crash when entering the video options menu

The game crashes if you go into the video options menu on modern systems the only solution to adjust your graphics settings is to edit the TOD_PC.ini

Issues fixed

No sound outside of pre-rendered movies

Install newest OpenAL driver[3]<[2]
  1. Download and install newest OpenAL driver.
  2. Go to the installation folder and rename or remove OpenAL32.dll.
  3. May also find success deleting OpenAL32.dll from C:\Windows\System32.
  4. If OpenAL32.dll is deleted from C:\Windows\System32, a copy should be left in the game directory folder.

Black screen after loading a mission / game crashes after loading a mission

Install newest OpenAL driver[3]<[2]
  1. Edit %USERPROFILE%\Documents\SHELLSHOCK_NAM67\TOD_PC.ini.
  2. In [Video Driver] section set PostRenderEffects to Off.
  3. If PostRenderEffects property is missing, simply add a line PostRenderEffects = Off.

Crash at launch (Direct3D error)
