Key points
- Improved compatibility with newer operating systems in comparison to the original PC release from 2000.
- Slightly better models with more polygons.
- Uses inferior MIDI music compared to the PlayStation version.[1]
- Analog on controller works, however, Squall still only runs in 8 directions, whereas in the PlayStation version, Squall has complete circular movement.
- Minor thin black bars on the top and bottom.
- Button prompts are B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, etc., rather than the standard A/B/X/Y.
