Issues unresolved
Corrupt save file
- Issue may be prevented with Patch 1.01.
- Exiting the game at certain moments can lead to a corrupt savegame.[4]
Replace corrupt file with a new one[5]
|
- Do NOT create a new Autosave. Exit the game after seeing the message about the corrupt savefile.
- Create a copy of the savegamefolder.
- Restart game, create a new Autosave and exit normally.
- Replace the new savefolder file by file with your old save and start the game each time.
- When encountering the corrupt save message, remember the file, that was replaced earlier. It is the corrupt one.
- Create a new Autosave as prompted and exit the game normally.
- Replace all files in the new savegamefolder with your old save with the exception of the corrupt one.
Notes
- Does not restore the content stored in the corrupt file.[6]
- Not an option, if a new Autosave was created prior to making a copy of the folder.
|
Restore older version[7]
|
- Go to the savegamelocation.
- Right click on the folder and pick "Restore previous version".
Notes
- Progress made after restoring point is lost.
- Windows restorefunction needs to be active prior to the incident.
