The latest version of dgvoodoo2, 2.82.1 has fixed crashing issues with Nocturne and is once again compatible. The same should apply for the Blair Witch games.
If someone wishes, they can add game-specific dgvoodoo instructions as alternative to DDrawCompat now.
You will need to set the following under [GeneralExt] in dgVoodoo.conf to get the intro movie working:
