Questions regarding the DLC

Are any of the DLC compatible with the PC Booter version of the game? And did the game eventually release with a MS-DOS-compatible version?

I am not completely sure, but looking at the early Scenery disks, they seem to be OS agnostic as they are compatible with multiple OS platforms. Even Atari 8-bit and C64... As such the data cannot be stored in a regular FAT filesystem structure, but rather in a more "raw" format that MSFS knows how to read. It may be possible that it reads them directly from a second drive (or require disk swaps) without needing a HDD, which would also be required for 8-bit platforms, which never had a HDD option. In such cases, there may indeed not be a MS-DOS release (which I could not find).
