The second-generation Oculus Touch controllers are a pair of game controllers released by Meta on March 20, 2019. They were released alongside the Oculus Rift S VR headset.

The are some changes to the second-generation model compare to the first model, namely the position of the IR rings, which were now facing upward. Each controller has 3 buttons, an analog stick, 2 triggers and a touchpad. The triggers, buttons and analog stick are capacitive.

The second-generation Touch controllers are only available through bundles with the Rift S and the Quest VR headsets.

The second-generation Touch controllers are only compatible with the Rift S and the Quest and are compatible with SteamVR.

Support in games

When paired with the Rift S or the Quest, the controllers are supported in VR games through SteamVR. See List of VR games for a list of VR games.
When the headset is connected to the PC through Virtual Desktop, the controllers can acts as a single XInput controller for non-VR games when "Emulate gamepad on PC" is turned on.
