Widescreen resolution

Primarily you can use these quick widescreen patches - Patch or follow these instruction for manual setting your preferred resolution.

  1. Go to the installation folder.
  2. Run TazLauncher.exe.
  3. Select Video and set the resolution to 640x480. If it's set already select OK or the file won't save correctly.
  4. See Hex Editing Resolutions (Windows).
  5. Open taz.dat with a hex editor such as HxD.
  6. Push Ctrl+E, for the Start-offset write 24, for the End-offset write 29 then push OK.
  7. Set 8002 to the converted Width value.
  8. Set E001 to the converted Height value.

• Set 80 07 00 00 38 04 for 1080p

• Set 00 0A 00 00 A0 05 for 1440p

• Set 00 0F 00 00 70 08 for 4k
