- A C++ rewrite of the configuration tool for Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 that removes the dependency to have Java runtime libraries installed despite the actual game not using Java.
- Doesn't let you choose any upscaled resolutions higher than 1080p despite the original launcher supporting higher resolutions. Keep in mind the game's internal resolution is still 720p, unless using a patched executable that upscales it up to 1080p natively.
