Issues fixed

Game does not launch on Windows 8 and newer

Use alternate launcher^[1]
Instead of using the executables in the installation's root folder to launch the game, find `\Launcher\SCSocietiesLauncher.exe`. Set this to use compatibility mode for Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) and use this executable to launch the game.
