Issues Fixed

Crash at startup

Use nGlide in 3DFX mode[4]
  1. Download and install nGlide.
  2. Start the game using rlr_3dfx.exe.
Alternatively, use dgVoodoo 2 for either (3DFX or D3D) renderers[5]

Music does not play or loop

Fix CD audio not looping on Windows Vista and newer operating systems[6]
  1. Rip your game CD-ROM's music to MP3 format and place it in a folder on your computer.
  2. Download the patched _inmm.dll, and install it.
  3. Inside <path-to-game>, patch rlr_3dfx.exe, rlr_D3d.exe, and rlr_i740.exe by dragging them onto _inmmconf.exe.
  4. Open _inmmconf.exe and set DirectShow player for default file type in the method tab, as well as the MP3 type.
  5. In the _inmm.ini tab, add the audio files you have ripped. Make sure the order is correct, and then save it in <path-to-game>.

Unable to move bikes on certain tracks

Enable Vsync or set an FPS limit[citation needed]

Notes

  1. SafeDisc retail DRM does not work on Windows 10[1] or Windows 11 and is disabled by default on Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 when the KB3086255 update is installed.[2]
  2. 2.0 2.1 When running this game without elevated privileges (Run as administrator option), write operations against a location below %PROGRAMFILES%, %PROGRAMDATA%, or %WINDIR% might be redirected to %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore on Windows Vista and later (more details).
