Issues fixed
No hardware acceleration
If you're playing on a newer computer, chances are Peggle will reject your video card and say it's too old if you try to enable 3D acceleration. This is a problem with some newer (as of writing this) cards, such as the Vega 56 or the GTX 1070. Fixing this is simple.
- Download WineD3D from here.
- Open the directory where Peggle is installed.
- In the root of that directory, extract wined3d.dll, libwine.dll and ddraw.dll.
When you start Peggle again, hardware acceleration should be enabled.
- This also works for most older PopCap games.
Low FPS
There are two ways of fixing the problem:
- Disable hardware acceleration if fullscreen is on.
- Play the game in a window. Hardware acceleration works fine while the game is windowed.
