Jagged Alliance 2: Unfinished Business is the first standalone expansion for Jagged Alliance 2. It does not require the original game to play. It includes a new singleplayer storyline, new characters, weapons, maps and gameplay changes. It also comes with a campaign editor, unlike the original.

Issues unresolved

"Error code 85" or "Application load error" on startup

An issue which affects the Steam version specifically. Some users report solving it with switching the executable to one without the DRM.^[3]

The retail Gold Pack, GOG.com and Zoom Platform versions are unaffected by this issue.
