Issues
Welcome to Resistance crash
If your Windows Username has a non-standard character in it, such as á, the game will crash after meeting Dana. This will reportedly be fixed in the 1.5 patch, but as a workaround, create a new User account without any such characters.
Alternate fix
An alternate fix is to navigate to C:\Users\Your User Account. Then right click the folder "Saved Games". Select the "Location" tab and then change the Save Folder location to a location without any special characters. For example, "C:\SavedGames".
Disabling motion blur breaks DOF
Disabling motion blur will cause your weapons to be blurry. This is especially conspicuous on the assault rifle with its "Don't tread on me" sticker that is completely unreadable with motion blur disabled.
